Access, Community, Creativity, Growth, Learning, Service

The Mondovi Public Library is a public library and a member of the Winding Rivers Library System (WRLS), a cooperative of over 30 libraries that share materials, resources, and expertise to better serve communities across southwest Wisconsin.

The library has served the residents of Mondovi and the surrounding area for well over a century. It was originally established in the early 1900s as a community resource and has continued to evolve to meet local needs.

In 2024, the library opened its new facility across the street from its former location, marking a major milestone in the library’s history and expanding space for services and programming.

Today, the Mondovi Public Library offers a diverse collection of print books, audio books, and magazines, public-use computers and free Wi‑Fi, and digital content that can be downloaded to mobile devices. The library also provides programs and resources for children, teens, and adults, along with a handicap-accessible entry and modern facilities designed to serve the community efficiently.

The building continues to act as a welcoming hub for learning, connecting, and gathering in the heart of Mondovi.
