Where can I check out library materials?

You can check out materials from the Mondovi Public Library, as well as any of the other WRLSWEB libraries. You can see a full list of libraries that your library card works at HERE. You can use your card to check out eBooks and eAudiobooks from anywhere with WiFi.

Where can I return my library materials?

You can return your materials to any WRLSWEB library. During open hours you can return your materials to the circulation desk and we have an after hours drop box return next to the front door. Be conscientious when returning media items in the outdoor drop, large books may drop on them damaging the cases.

Are there any limits on the number of items I can have checked out?

You are allowed 100 items at a time. This includes books, movies, magazines, etc.

What if I want to renew my items?

Each item can be renewed twice. Items can be renewed at any WRLSWEB location or online through your account found HERE.

 

If an item has a hold on it, it cannot be renewed and must be returned to the library.

What if I lose or damage an item?

If materials are not returned on time, two overdue notices will be sent, followed by a replacement bill. If an item belonging to Mondovi Public Library is damaged and determined by the director of the library to be unfit to circulate, you will be charged for the replacement of the item. If the item is from another WRLSWEB library, the item will be sent back to the library and you will be billed at that library’s discretion.

At the Mondovi Public Library replacement items that are in new condition may be accepted in lieu of a replacement fee at the discretion of the library director.

How long may I keep my items?

DVDs check out for one or two weeks. Video Games check out for one week. All other materials can be checked out for 3 weeks.

What happens if I return my items late?

If you return your items after they are due, they will not accrue any late fees, as Mondovi Public Library is Fine Free. We still ask that you return all materials on time, and if items are never returned a replacement bill will be assessed. 

Note that other libraries may have different fine rates different than Mondovi if you are to check out at another WRLS library.
