This week we have finished putting together all of our Take-and-Make kits for all age groups in February. Here is what is coming up!

Adults: February 1st, Book Page Heart Garland, a garland made out of book pages and inspired by decorations made for the library by a previous librarian, Kathy Weiss!

Teens (Ages 12 and up): February 1st, STEAM Light Up Valentine, learn all about electrical currents and make a valentine that lights up. February 15th, Paper Bag Engineering, make an awesome decorations using paper bags, glue and your own creativity.

Kids (Ages 11 and under): February 1st, Heart STEAM, make a decoration or undertake a building challenge all with various sizes of hearts. February 15th, Paper Bag Otters, make an adorable otter using a paper bag, some stuffing and a pattern.

We try to have teens and kids projects come out every other week, and adults monthly. There are limited supplies and therefore the kits will be available until gone. More will not be made based off of demand, so be sure to stop into the library early and get yours!

Tax forms will be coming to the library. As of this writing we have not received federal tax forms, but they should be coming soon. The library receives copies of income tax forms and instructions to hand out to anyone who would like them. We are willing to help customers locate and print off other tax forms as needed. We currently have our state tax forms here and they are ready to be picked up. We will make an announcement on our Facebook page and through Bookmarks when federal forms arrive.

The library is going to be looking for a cleaning person to clean the library one day per week for approximately three hours a week. Cleaning must be done when the library is closed, but days and times are flexible. If you are interested or know someone who may be interested, please contact Katelyn Noack at the library. We will be putting out information about the position soon.
